Kaiser

Been playing with the beer can for the last couple of days. I still cannot get sweat bead properly. I guess it’s time to google around a bit for some instructions on those nice even drops of water.

I can understand your frustration. I worked in the film industry in Toronto for over 30 years. In my career, I worked on many commercial shoots with the various production companies. We never relied on cooling to create condensation drops on products, as this method was too unreliable and very hit and miss. The prop masters always used glycerin, available at your local pharmacy, to create perfect, tears, sweat, condensation on cans and bottles, and create the illusion of a perfectly grilled burger.

I've suffered the same problem when trying to photograph cold bottles.

Will try the glycerin next time thanks

Thank you guys. I figured that much with glycerin. Now it's time to play with it.
